You can find similar small file sizes in other ways by doing a second round of compression in JPG or using the most difficult original compression. WebP's attraction is not the only way to get very small file sizes but, byte-for-byte, the resulting image quality of small WebP files is better than equivalent JPG files (and, in most cases, PNG Files).
